Overview
The Institute is an alternative to Seminary. It is designed for those who are not ready for Seminary or cannot afford the cost of a Seminary education but want to advance their Bible knowledge. Students have greater flexibility and enjoy lower costs. However, the available courses and degrees are limited. The Institute allows students to enroll in classes without pursuing a degree. They can select only those courses that are most important to them.
There are no prerequisites to enroll in the Bible Institute. However, those who desire to earn a bachelor’s degree must be the recipients of a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Tuition and Financial AID
Earning a degree or receiving biblical education from PCBIS is an investment in time and money. PCBIS believes a Biblical education should be flexible, affordable, and achievable. Therefore, the admissions office is here to help you understand the ins and outs of financial aid, smart borrowing, and available offers. PCBIS is committed to helping students invest wisely. We are prepared to help you navigate your options, whether you need financial aid or loans. The following are the types of financial assistance we can provide.
Financial AID
Types of Scholarships:
- Legacy Scholarship: The Legacy Scholarship is available to any student whose parent(s) have graduated from PCBIS.
- Presidential Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements and meet all other requirements and leadership skills.
- Academic Scholarships: These scholarships are based on academic merit, as well as satisfying all other requirements. 3.0 GPA or Higher Required.
Types of Grants
- Foundation Grants: These grants are awarded by private organizations to support various causes, including education, theology, and the arts
- Project Grants: Government agencies or foundations provide these grants to fund specific projects or initiatives if students meet the required qualifications.
- Matching Grants: Donors (corporations, foundations, or individuals) agree to match a specified amount of money provided through designated sources.
Work Study
Work-Study at PCBIS is a financial aid program that allows eligible students to earn money while enrolled by working part-time. The money earned is used to help cover the costs of obtaining a biblical education at PCBIS. Work-Study is a need-based program, meaning that students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible.
Loan Options
- Private Loans: Banks offer these non-governmental loans to students and parents to help cover the costs of college. They must be paid with interest, and students must pursue these independently.
- Integrity Loans: PCBIS offers integrity loans to students who cannot obtain financing via other means to satisfy their financial obligations if they meet the eligibility requirements
The Parent-Child Bible Institute & Seminary (PCBIS) offers the Integrity Loan Program to students who require financial assistance and cannot obtain financing via other means to satisfy their monetary obligations.
However, to be approved, students must meet the eligibility requirements, request and complete the loan application.
Instructions for applying for PCBIS Integrity Loan
A $50 fee must be included with the application; the fee will be refunded if the application is not approved.
Students may borrow a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $5,000 at a fixed annual interest rate of 10%. Upon approval, an initial payment of at least 25% of the loan must be paid. Interest accrues 30 days after the loan is approved and continues until the loan is paid in full. All interest and fees generated from this loan will be invested in educating children at PCBIS.
A minimum monthly payment of $75 will be required by the 20th of every calendar month. If payment is not received within five (5) days after the due date, a late fee of $25 will be applied to the balance. There is no penalty for paying off the loan early.
The PCBIS Integrity loan cannot be used to create credit on the account. If the financial aid awarded exceeds Student Accounts charges, the Integrity Loan will be reduced to only what the student needs to cover direct charges. The Program does not require a credit check or a cosigner but requires students to complete a promissory note that includes three references with different addresses.
Note: No certificates, diplomas or degrees will be awarded or granted until the loan is paid in full.
